Club Des Sports recognises and acknowledges our duty of care in regards the safeguarding of everyone who uses our establishment. We are committed to ensuring our safeguarding practices reflect a commitment to positive practise as well as statutory responsibilities.
Within this Club Des Sports recognises that the welfare of our children and young members is paramount and we aim to ensure that regardless of age, gender, religion or beliefs, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation or social economic background, everyone;
• will be able to enjoy a positive experience in a safe and secure environment
• has the right to protection from all types of harm or abuse
Club Des Sport will:
- Promote and prioritise the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
- Ensure that there is confidentiality with regards to any records kept pertaining to individual children and young people.
- Ensure our safe recruitment procedures are followed at all time to enable the employment / deployment of suitable staff.
- Ensure that appropriate action is taken in the event of any concern raised and suitable support is available.
- Train staff to understand their responsibility and company expectations. Adopt a code of conduct for all staff.
Club Des Sports will ensure that our policies and procedures are reviewed annually or as required to keep us in line with changes in Government Legislation, Local Safeguarding Board and appropriate UK Sports Governing Bodies.
