Masters of Ballet Academy is a relatively new school that builds on the extraordinary international success of Masters of Ballet Summer Camps provided at Sadlers Wells Theatre.
Founded by Elena Glurdjidze - former Lead Principal of English National Ballet and Olga Semenova- currently teaching at English National Ballet School and Central School of Ballet, the Academy offers term time ballet, 6 days a week for children aged 4-18 years as well as a limited number of adult classes.
Masters of Ballet Academy is the only school in the UK to offer the Vaganova Method, training exclusively with a teacher whose ballet heritage can be traced directly back to the great Agrippina Vaganova herself. Students of all abilities and ages from 4 years old to adults are welcome. Classes include:
- Professional level
- Children's classes
- Hobby classes
All tuition follows 'The Vaganova Method' and each student will be placed in the class most appropriate to his or her ability.
Regular weekly classes provide our young dancers with a valuable opportunity to develop confidence, creativity, technical ability, co-ordination, stamina, strength, musicality and grace. These are skills needed for Pre and Professional levels and will give students the best possible training for a career in the world of dance. The attention given to developing the strengths and talents of each student will benefit them both physically and spiritually even if they decide not to be a professional dancer.
